Habitat for Humanity
Throughout the fall, St. John will join other churches to build a Habitat for Humanity house in the Jeff Vandeloo neighborhood of north St. Louis. Opportunities are available on Saturdays from 8-4 pm through December 6th. You must be 16 to participate. This is a great opportunity to see how the Habitat program works and make a difference to a family who needs a home. Please contact Karen Slimack at or 636 779-2345.
College Hill Tutoring
Impact a child's life by helping elementary age children at Imagine Academy, a new charter school in the College Hill neighborhood. Flexible schedule requiring just a few hours per monht. For more information contact Barb McElroy at (636) 227-1868.
Christmas Party for Humanitri

Christmas Dinner in College Hill
Also December 13 from 9am - 1pm at St. Paul Lutheran Church in College Hill. This opportunity is geared toward adults and families with teens. Adopt a Family
Provide Christmas gifts and household supplies to a less fortunate family from our jail ministry partners at Humanitri or Lutheran Family and Children Services.
