What do chicken feathers in your underwear, Sam's purse, and Passing the Baton have in common?
A first time mission member picks up their clothing from a local laundry and discovers a chicken feather piercing their underwear!
Passing out 200 Samaritan's Purse shoe boxes for children in a poor local village. This was an amazing opportunity to see the receiving end of the thousands of donations through the Operation Christmas Child of the Samaritan's Purse organization.
Celebrating the confirmation of Pastor Jesse and Naomi's son, David, with Pastor Dion passing the baton for him to continue to run the good race in the faith that he professed during the ceremony. And celebrating David's brother, Solomon's first communion as well!
These are just some of the events that happened today along with our regularly scheduled activities....teaching, devotions, cooking, dental clinic, painting, all part of one amazing day doing God's work serving the people of Stronghold Cambodia. The day was capped off by a dinner hosted at our St. John missionaries on the ground, Tim and Diane Esala.
This all brings me tremendous Joy, Joy, Joy, Joy, Down in my Heart!
Thanking God for this wonderful opportunity to serve!
