Construction in the Commons / Change of Lunch Menu
The STJ Commons (lunchroom) will be under construction beginning May 2.  The updates are part of the STJ campus improvement plan.  As a result of these campus improvements, K-8 students will be eating lunch in the second level of Cornerstone.  In addition, you will notice that the school menu has been reduced to one item.  This is a result of  the move to Cornerstone.  We appreciate your patience and understanding as we undergo these exciting improvements.  You can access the lunch menu for May by clicking here.

Opportunities to Celebrate
Schedule time next week to celebrate staff who are finishing their time at STJ.  You are invited on Wednesday, May 9 to attend chapel where we will take some time to honor the service of Mrs. Wendy Weiss. We will also provide time afterwords for students and families to share their appreciation for the impact she has made on our community. Also, be on the lookout for other opportunities to celebrate some of the other staff members who have made a lasting impression on our school.

Thank You for Supporting the STJ Fun Run!
Last week, St. John School kids, families and staff completed a unique character-building journey to raise funds for St. John School.  This epic journey began with a pep rally, a week and a half of teaching each child the six virtues of being a true hero, and ultimately culminated in a Fun Run.

On Wednesday, April 18, students ran 30-35 laps and raised over $16,000 for our school!  Thank you, parents and families, for your generous support!  And thank you St. John School students for running to raise funds for your school.  It truly was a success!
