Thank You for Supporting Our Annual School Auction
Building a strong community is an important value at STJ. It is great to see families engaging in experiences that strengthen relationships while joining together to support a greater purpose. I have seen this value displayed through several of our recent STJ events. For example, it was great to see families come together and support student learning through our learning fair. In addition, last week we reported on the success of our basketball teams that made the state tournament. While our players certainly represented STJ well, it was another opportunity that allowed families to strengthen relationships while building new friendships in the midst of an athletic competition.
As we consider opportunities that strengthen our community, our School Auction occurred last Friday night. It was an outstanding event that highlighted several elements of our school. Not only did it help support STJ in a huge financial way, but also it exemplified our strong community promoting opportunities that fostered relationships.
I am grateful for the families that were able to attend our Auction last week. I appreciate the evident support of STJ through this event. I am thankful for the many volunteers, especially Laura Strasser and Nadia Pratt (our Auction co-chairs) that helped ensure the evening was a success. Ultimately, the evening was favorable because our community was able to come together in many different ways to support STJ. As the Bible verse below indicates, we are able to use our individual gifts to contribute in unique ways. When we are able to all come together for a greater purpose, with our personal gifts, we are able to accomplish amazing things. Thanks for your role in making STJ an amazing place!
There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone, it is the same God at work. - 1 Corinthians 12:6
- Student, Adult and Family Sign Up Parties are still open for bidding. Please visit the school office to sign up this week. Sign Up Parties are great way to be a part of the St. John School Community.
- We want to thank all of the Sponsors, Donors, Volunteers and Attendees for being a part St. John School Auction this year!
We are excited to launch this year’s school survey to you. The following survey consists of 6 different topics/sessions, and will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete. Our survey will be open for the next several weeks for families in EC through Grade 8. The overall goal of this survey is transparency, and a partnership with you. We want to make sure we are doing everything we can in order for you to continue to call St. John your home. Thank you so much for your willingness to help make us even better! Please click here to access the survey.

Thank you to the many STJ families who have walked through the re-enrollment process. We have received some great feedback regarding the new online process and look forward to expanding this service for the future. If you have not yet enrolled, it is time to walk through this process. We utilize our enrollment to help prepare elements for the 2018-2019 school year. We are honored to serve your family and ask that you contact the office if you have any questions regarding the enrollment process.
