Next Generation

At St. John, the Next Generation is today’s priority. That’s not just a catchy statement; we actually believe it! And beyond believing it, we try to live out that conviction every day and every week as we create fun, relevant, and age-appropriate environments for the Next Generation to thrive and then partner with parents in the faith development of their children.

From loving care in the nursery to relevant relationships in youth ministry, we desire to help move babies, children, and youth on their LIFEjourney. Whether they attend St. John School or attend another school, we believe God has given us an opportunity to influence their life in a positive way.

We love the way the writer of Psalm 78 put it:

“O my people, hear my teaching; listen to the words of my mouth. I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter hidden things, things from of old – what we have heard and known, what our fathers have told us. We will not hide them from their children; WE WILL TELL THE NEXT GENERATION THE PRAISEWORTHY DEEDS OF THE LORD, HIS POWER, AND THE WONDERS HE HAS DONE.”
