The days leading up to our Easter Eggstravaganza involve a lot of prayer and discussion around the weather. We all know the saying, "If you don't like the weather in St. Louis, just wait a day. It will change." Sometimes, it doesn't even take an hour. That makes planning an outside event especially tricky.
This year's rainstorms during Holy Week, found us all holding our breath. But, some great wind not only blew the storm clouds away, but they helped dry off the soccer field allowing us to have our 10,000 egg hunt outside.
A huge thank you to all who showed up to enjoy the egg hunt, bouncy houses, balloon artists, face-painting, crafts and food. We love the fact that so many of you hung around and enjoyed the beautiful weather. And, we want to thank our many volunteers who helped bring the event.
We hope you enjoy the photos from this year's Eggstravaganza. Leave a comment below for us. We love hearing from you. #ILoveMyChurch
