SAT Scores

Each spring St. John students in grades 1-8 take the Stanford Achievement Test. This is the most widely used test given by both public and non-public schools in our nation. Due to the large number of schools participating in this assessment, the results are nationally normed. This means, that based on these results, schools can benchmark how their students compare to students in their grade level as well as average grade level scores. One way of looking at this is if you compared a classroom score of 81 to 100 other classrooms who took the test, they would have done better than 80 other classes who took the same test.
